Clay Pigeon Shooting · Swansea
INFO
A stunning clay pigeon shooting site on the Gower Peninsula, with views that will take your breath away and hopefully shots that will impress your mates!
You will meet your instructor at a Cafe (Coffee and Paninis available to buy before or after) before walking down to the actual site.
You then get a full safety briefing and given some handy hints and tips on shooting the clay into a billion pieces.
After a few practice shots it's then down to business, the main reason you're here, to find out who in the stag group has the accuracy of a ninja and who has the reactions of a sloth!
You will shoot from a variety of stands and there are automatic traps* giving you different styles of clays to shoot at.
*If you didn't know, traps are the spring loaded machines that fire the clays into the air up to approximately 100 metres. A good clay pigeon shooting site will have various traps shooting clays from left to right, straight in front of you, going away from you etc. All of these targets have funny names such as; crosser, driven, quartering and so on...
Everyday is a school day!
