A clay pigeon shooting site just outside Nottingham with over 50 years experience, what they don't know about clay pigeon shooting is not worth knowing.

On arrival you will receive a full safety briefing from a qualified instructor who will also give you some top tips on how to hit the bird (clay).

After a few practice shots you will move onto the main reason why you're here, to find out who in the group has the eye of the tiger and who has the reactions of a sloth, in your 25 shot competition.

You will shoot clays from various traps* to make the competition extremely interesting and loads of fun.

We find a competition on a stag weekend goes down well and adds to the banter.

*If you didn't know, traps are the spring loaded machines that fire the clays into the air up to approximately 100 metres. A good clay pigeon shooting site will have various traps shooting clays from left to right, straight in front of you, going away from you etc. All of these targets have funny names such as; crosser, driven, quartering and so on...
